1. List down all your interests. The greatest eBooks usually stem from the author’s personal interests.

2. Come up with a list of possible topics. Make sure that these topics are the very same things that you are also interested in. This is because it will be easier for you to write if you yourself are interested in the topic.

3. Prepare before you begin writing. Nothing beats a well-armed soldier who’s off to battle, so to speak. Before you begin writing your eBook, you have to mentally prepared and inspired.

4. Pool all your resources and make them readily available as you write. Examples of resources are your statistics, data and fast facts. Keep these on hand so that you could easily refer to them when you need to cite helpful information in your eBook.

5. Develop your eBook with a specific purpose in mind. You must know why you’re writing an eBook in the first place. For instance, if you’re writing one because you want to sell a specific product, then you have to make sure that your eBook has all the right sales pitches and marketing terms.

6. Never take grammar and spelling for granted. A lot of writers often make this mistake. They believe that just because they have good grammar, then there’s no need for them to edit their work. Never be complacent and don’t hesitate to have your work proofread.
